I promote a dozen different web sites consisting of various products, services, and business opportunities. Some generate a tiny profit, others a nice profit, and a few produce an incredible profit. There is no magic to what I do or what I have accomplished. Success on the internet all boils down to marketing. Nothing more, nothing less. And the marketing process begins with getting as many real, live people to visit your web site as possible. One of the most effective (yet inexpensive) ways to drive a HUGE number of prospects to your web site is by the expert use of Traffic Exchange programs. To give you an idea, last month, starting from scratch... I use about a dozen of the BEST traffic exchanges to drive over 14,000 live people to my web sites absolutely FREE. What is a Traffic Exchange? A Traffic Exchange is a membership-based advertising co-op designed to display complete web pages (URLs) to other members. The general idea is:
Not all Traffic Exchanges are Created Equal There are two basic types of traffic exchanges:
Auto surfing means the traffic exchange offers a StartPage that rotates through web sites automatically without human intervention. Each time a new web site is "rotated", members earn credit. The challenge with auto surf exchanges is they can be set up so no live human will ever see your web site. Auto Surf traffic exchanges are essentially worthless for our purposes. Manual surfing means the traffic exchange offers a StartPage that requires a live human to actually view each web site for 10-30 seconds before earning a credit. And that is exactly what we are looking for - live humans, potential prospects to actually view our pages. So, for our purposes, we are only interested in using manual exchanges. Three Ways to Drive Quality Traffic There are three ways to use manual surf exchanges to drive a ton of traffic to your web site:
Most traffic exchanges require each member to "surf" a minimum number of times each month to remain a member. With this in mind, you will want to set up a simple "surfing system" to make sure you meet the requirement of each traffic exchange program you join. We will talk more about this in a minute. Most exchanges also allow members to purchase additional hits by either becoming a paid member or simply via a one-time purchase. If you have an advertising budget, purchasing hits can bring you a TON of great traffic at very affordable rates. The key is to only purchase from traffic exchanges that can actually deliver the traffic ordered and that deliver the highest percentage of unique visitors. We will also talk more about this in a minute. The best long-term strategy is to build a downline of members in each traffic exchange you join because you will earn a credit (and sometimes a commission) for each web site they "surf". For example, let's say you build a downline of 100 people who "surf" an average of 20 web sites per day - a total of 2000 web sites. Let's also assume you earn 400 credits based on your downline's efforts. See the magic? Your web site will be displayed 200 times and YOU did not have to personally surf to earn those credits... nor did you have to purchase those credits. You earned them based on the time and effort of your downline. Step-by-Step Traffic Exchange System Here is the step-by-step system I use to drive a TON of quality traffic to my various web sites each and every month. To give you an idea, over 14,000 people have viewed one or more of my web sites in the past 30 days... and none of this traffic cost me a dime.

The reason you want to use PageSwirl is to simplify and maximize your promotion efforts later when we join the various traffic exchanges because you already have at least TWO web sites you are going to promote - your primary opportunity (to make money) and your TrafficHoopla account (to help build a traffic exchange downline). If you intend to purchase traffic, then I highly encourage you to upgrade to the Pro account ($14 per month) and purchase traffic only from those exchanges that can deliver the traffic in a timely fashion and that deliver the highest percentage of unique visitors. For now, sign up for a FREE account and record your account information:
Set up your PageSwirl account Armed with your TrafficHoopla affiliate URL (log in, click 'Referral URL' in the left menu, and select one of the five URLs presented), log into PageSwirl. Click the 'Rotator Sites' link in the left menu and add each URL you want to promote - including your new TrafficHoopla affiliate URL. For example, I added these five URLs to my account:
Now, by simply promoting ONE URL (my PageSwirl Rotator) via the traffic exchanges, I will be evenly promoting each of the above listed web sites. With the Pro Version of PageSwirl, you can configure how many hits each of your web sites get, stop and start campaigns, and add as many URLs as you want. I use the Pro Version because I promote over a dozen web sites. Jot down your Rotator URL. It will look something like this: http://pageswirl.com/rotate.php?user=seriousmoney Set up your TrafficHoopla system Log in to your TrafficHoopla account and select 'Hit Exchanges' from the left menu. Join at least the top five exchanges and, as time permits, sign up for all 50 of the top exchanges. As you join each traffic exchange program, the URL you want to promote is your PageSwirl rotator URL. By promoting your rotator URL, instead of logging into each traffic exchange program to make changes (add a web site, delete a web site, etc), you simply log in to your PageSwirl account and make the changes there! You will need to keep a record of your account information for each exchange. I use a NotePad and I named the file trafficexchanges.txt. Here is an example of the information I record:
Joining each of these traffic exchanges can be very time consuming but it is well worth the time and effort involved. Don't attempt to sign up for all 50 in one session. Sign up for at the least the top five and then sign up for another five the next day, etc., etc., until you make it through the entire list. For now, just sign up for the top five and let's move on. Download the FREE SlimBrowser Every Traffic Exchange program has a minimum "surfing" requirement for each member to remain active. This means you, too, will be required to "surf" each of the exchanges you want to use. The most effective way I have found to "surf" any number of exchanges is to use a FREE browser called SlimBrowser. You can download it here. Once downloaded, double-click the file and follow the instructions to install the program. You will be using this program daily so you will want to create a desktop link or put it somewhere where you can launch it easily. Now launch SlimBrowser and, chances are, it will have opened a "blank" page. Simply right click in on this "blank" tab and select "CLOSE." Now open your trafficexchanges.txt file and copy one of your traffic exchange StartPage links (left click to the left of the link and, holding the left mouse button down, scroll until you reach the end of the link. This link should now be highlighted. Release the left mouse button and do CTRL+C on your keyboard) Now go back to Slimbrowser and do CTRL+Shift+N on your keyboard. If you did everything correctly, you will see a new tab opened in Slimbrowser and you will be looking at one of your traffic exchange StartPages. (If you have challenges, you can manually add each StartPage by selecting FILE/NEW from the SlimBrowser menu). Repeat as necessary for each of the traffic exchanges you have joined. For example, if you have joined the top five exchanges, you will be adding five links to Slimbrowser and you will have five tabs open when you are done. These are the five links I added...
...so my copy of Slimbrowser now has five open tabs. Surf for credits using Slimbrowser everyday Click on any one of the tabs and you can begin "surfing" to earn credits. As soon as you "surf" and the 10-30 timer begins, simply click the next tab and begin "surfing" there. Once the timer starts, click the next tab... etc., etc., and repeat as necessary. I use all 50 of the top exchanges so my SlimBrowser has 50 tabs open . On a daily basis, I open SlimBrowser and, starting on the left - start surfing until I surf all 50 StartPages. This takes less than a minute. Then I open up my regular browser (explorer) and do whatever it is I need to do. Sometime later I will go back to Slimbrower and, starting again on the left, surf all 50 tabs - and I'll repeat this process throughout the day. So by the time my day is over... I will have surfed each of the 50 traffic exchanges 10-50 times. This means I will have EARNED CREDITS and my web sites will be displayed to the other members on all 50 Traffic Exchanges. I might not have earned a ton of credits, but I did earn some and my web site will be seen by other members. The MAGIC is one of the web sites other members will see is my TrafficHoopla affiliate URL and many people will sign up for a free account. Then when they start "surfing" - I earn even more credits and, in time, you will start enjoying a massive amount of FREE, targeted traffic! Note: When you close down Slimbrowser it remembers the links that we open before you closed it. This means when you open it the next time, simply close the "blank" tab it presents and from the FILE MENU select "Restore Sites Open in Last Session." Fast Start Strategy - Purchase Quality Traffic Once you have everything set up, one of the fastest ways to kick start your business and kick start the process of building a downline in each of the Traffic Exchanges is to purchase quality traffic from one or more to the traffic exchanges. Before you purchase traffic, however, I highly recommend you upgrade your TrafficHoopla account to the Pro Version and ONLY purchase traffic from those exchanges that can deliver your traffic in a timely fashion AND who deliver at least 50% unique visitors. And as far as I know, the only way to find out this information is to upgrade to the Pro Version. Another way is simply to purchase traffic directly from your TrafficHoopla account (I just purchased 100,000 visitors myself!) and, I assume, they simply transfer some of the traffic they have earned on the various top 50 exchanges to you. Again... this is an assumption... as I don't really know how where the traffic they sell comes from. Another good traffic source is called Expired Domain traffic. How this works is, for example, let's say I purchase a domain like supersales.com, build a web site, and begin promoting this web site via the search engines. And, sure enough, supersales.com gets listed by a number of the search engines and... voila! Supersales.com starts to get visitors and I start to get sales. But, for a variety of different reasons, I FORGET to renew my domain name when it expires and someone else buys it - usually a company that is always on the lookout for expiring domains that already have a search engine presence. Well, my loss is your gain because when you purchase Expired Domain traffic what the company does is simply REDIRECT any visitors generated from that old domain... supersales.com... to YOUR web site. It's an interesting concept and the company I use is TrafficWholesalers. They offer Expired Domain traffic for as little as $4.95 for 1,000 visitors. Call me if you have questions or concerns, Rob
