GoHighLevel Pricing 2026 ($97, $297, $497 And The Wallet)
GoHighLevel runs $97, $297 or $497 a month, read on its own pricing page 13 September 2026. Every tier adds usage billing on top: $0.00747 per SMS segment, $1.15 a month per local number, plus A2P registration. The subscription is not the whole bill.

Full disclosure: I’m an active GoHighLevel affiliate and I earn 40% recurring on anybody who signs up through this page. I’m also a systeme.io affiliate, and systeme.io competes with GoHighLevel directly. Both of these companies can pay me. Read the recommendation at the bottom knowing that, and check the pricing pages yourself. Full disclosure
Trying to work out what GoHighLevel actually costs before you hand over $97?
The subscription is not the whole bill. That is the sentence the other pricing posts leave out.
Most pricing articles stop at the three numbers, because the three numbers are easy to copy off the page. The part that decides whether this tool is affordable for you sits in a separate billing guide that the pricing page links to but does not total.
So let’s total it.
What Does GoHighLevel Cost Per Month?
Three tiers, published. Here they are as read on 13 September 2026.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Sub-accounts | The thing you’re actually buying |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $97 | $970 | 3 | Core CRM, funnels, calendars, unlimited contacts and users |
| Unlimited | $297 | $2,970 | Unlimited | Rebill phone and email at cost, basic API |
| Agency Pro | $497 | $4,970 | Unlimited | SaaS Mode, automated sub-account creation, rebill WITH markup |
| Enterprise | Not published | - | - | Contact sales |
Annual billing is ten months for twelve. On Starter that’s $194 kept, on Agency Pro it’s $994.
There’s a 14-day trial on any tier.
So far, so normal.
Read the sub-accounts column again, because it’s the only column that matters. A sub-account is a walled-off instance of the whole platform - its own contacts, funnels, calendars and automations. That’s how an agency gives each client a system without them seeing each other.
Got one business? You need one sub-account.
You’re paying $97 for three.
What Are The Usage Fees Nobody Totals?
This is the section the other pricing posts skip, and it’s the reason you’re here.
Phone, SMS and email do not come with your subscription. They run through a prepaid wallet that auto-recharges your card, billed as you use them, on every tier including the $497 one.
Per HighLevel’s own LC Phone billing guide, updated 1 September 2026:
| What | US rate |
|---|---|
| SMS, outbound or inbound | $0.00747 per segment |
| MMS, outbound | $0.0220 per segment |
| Local phone number | $1.15 per month |
| Toll-free number | $2.15 per month |
| Outbound call | $0.0166 per minute |
| Inbound call | $0.01165 per minute |
HighLevel’s own guide says the pricing “matches Twilio’s rates.” That’s a fair statement and worth knowing - you are not being marked up on the telecom itself.
You are being marked up somewhere else, though, and it’s a smaller number in a place people don’t look.
Then there’s A2P. In the US you cannot send business texts without registering under A2P 10DLC. Not a HighLevel rule, a carrier rule, and it applies wherever you send from.
From HighLevel’s A2P fees article, updated 29 July 2026:
| A2P item | Cost |
|---|---|
| Sole Proprietor or Low Volume registration, one time | $24.50 |
| High Volume Standard registration, one time | $71.91 |
| Sole Proprietor campaign, monthly | $2.00 |
| Standard campaign, monthly | $10.00 |
| Carrier pass-through, per outbound segment | $0.003 to $0.005 |
HighLevel states these are pass-through charges from The Campaign Registry, Twilio and the carriers, with no markup from them. I believe that, and it’s a point in their favor that they publish the breakdown at all.
Now add the carrier fee to the segment rate. $0.00747 plus $0.003 to $0.005 lands you between roughly $0.010 and $0.012 per actual sent segment.
Call it a penny a text.
Doesn’t sound like much.
So What Does It Really Cost?
Let’s take one person running one business, texting a modest list.
Starter at $97. One local number at $1.15. Sole proprietor A2P registration at $24.50 once, then $2 a month. Say 1,000 SMS segments a month, at roughly a penny all-in, so $10.
Month one: about $135. Every month after: about $110.
That’s arithmetic, not a quote. It assumes the Starter tier, one number, sole-proprietor A2P and 1,000 segments a month, at the rates published above and read 13 September 2026. Your telecom spend moves with your sending.
Now run an agency with ten client sub-accounts, each with a number, each texting: you’re on Unlimited at $297, ten numbers at $11.50, ten campaigns at $2 to $10 each, and ten times the segments.
Different business. Different bill. Same platform.
That matters.
That’s the honest read: GoHighLevel’s price is not a number, it’s a slope. It scales with how many businesses you run and how much you text. For an agency that’s completely fair, because their revenue scales the same way.
For one person with one business, the slope starts above where most people expected.
Who Should Buy GoHighLevel?
Straight answer, and it costs me money to give it.
Buy it if you run marketing for other people. Agencies, consultants, anyone managing more than about three businesses. Sub-accounts are the product. Rebilling at markup on Agency Pro means the platform can pay for itself out of client telecom spend, and SaaS Mode means you can resell it under your own brand. Nothing at $30 a month does that. Nothing close.
Buy it if you need calls, texts and CRM in one place. The phone system is genuinely built in, not bolted on. If your business runs on dials and follow-up texts, that consolidation is worth real money.
Do not buy it if you are one person with one offer. You’d be paying $97 for three sub-accounts to use one, plus a wallet, plus A2P, to get funnels and email you can get elsewhere for free or close to it. I say that as somebody who earns 40% recurring when you buy it.
Do not buy it as your first tool. Not yet made a sale online? The constraint is not your software. I’ve watched people spend a year configuring a system for a business that never had a customer in it. The tool did not cause that, but it made the procrastination feel productive.
Here’s the deal…
I’ve written before about whether you actually need a funnel, and the answer has not changed. The platform is downstream of the offer.
GoHighLevel vs systeme.io: Which Costs Less?
I’m an affiliate for both, so take this table as two conflicts of interest canceling each other out rather than as neutrality.
| GoHighLevel | systeme.io | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | $97/month | $0 |
| Top published tier | $497/month | $97/month |
| Sub-accounts for clients | Yes, 3 to unlimited | No |
| Built-in phone and SMS | Yes, usage-billed | No |
| Usage fees on top | Yes, wallet | No |
| Resell under your brand | Yes, Agency Pro | No |
| Free plan | No, 14-day trial | Yes, 2,000 contacts |
Prices read on both vendors’ own pricing pages 13 September 2026.
These are not the same product wearing different price tags. GoHighLevel is an agency operating system. systeme.io is a funnel and email tool for one business.
Want the cheaper one? You already know which it is, and I’ve written the systeme.io review and the head-to-head against ClickFunnels separately.
Want the one that runs ten businesses and bills your clients for their own text messages, that’s this one, and $497 is cheap for it.
Two different questions.
People conflate them constantly.
Is The GoHighLevel Affiliate Program Worth Promoting?
GoHighLevel’s affiliate page states 40% recurring, paid monthly. On a $497 Agency Pro customer that works out to $198.80 every month the account stays open.
That number is exactly why you should read the rest of this page skeptically.
Seriously.
A $497 product paying 40% recurring attracts a lot of enthusiastic reviews, and the enthusiasm tracks the commission rather than the fit. I’ve now got skin in that game too. The defense I can offer is the section above where I told you not to buy it if you’re a solo operator, which is most people reading this.
Want somebody with no commission at stake? Opportunity Grade’s GoHighLevel review grades the company B minus and carries no affiliate links at all. I run that site, so it is not a third-party opinion in the strict sense - but it is the one where nobody gets paid when you click, and it reaches the same conclusion about the metered add-ons that I reached here.
Income disclosure: I searched for a GoHighLevel affiliate earnings disclosure on 13 September 2026 and did not find one published, so nobody can tell you what a typical affiliate on this program takes home, me included. In most affiliate programs the median participant earns nothing at all. The $198.80 above is what one Agency Pro sale pays, not what anybody averages. Full earnings disclosure
The FTC settled against individual affiliates in April 2026, not just the companies. Promote this yourself and the commission does not insulate you from what you claim.
What I Cannot Tell You About This One
I have not run an agency on GoHighLevel. I can read a rate card and do arithmetic. I cannot tell you what month eight of managing twenty sub-accounts feels like, whether support answers, or where the platform breaks under load. Somebody who bills clients on it daily knows things about this tool that I do not, and you should weight their operational complaints above my pricing table.
My usage estimate is an illustration, not your bill. The $110 a month figure assumes 1,000 segments. Send 10,000 and the telecom line quadruples past the subscription. I picked a modest number deliberately, which means I picked the flattering one.
The published rates are US rates and they move. Every figure here was read on 13 September 2026 and carries its own source date. Carrier pass-through in particular changes without much announcement, and international rates are different again.
Enterprise pricing is not published, so the $497 ceiling in my table is the ceiling of what GoHighLevel will tell you in public, not the ceiling of what it costs.
I am paid by both sides of the comparison in this post. GoHighLevel pays me 40% recurring. systeme.io pays 60% recurring, and that headline rate is calculated after VAT rather than on the sticker price, so their own worked example pays $8.43 on a $17 plan and not $10.20 (help.systeme.io article 162, checked 15 August 2026). I’ve told you the cheaper tool is cheaper and the agency tool is better for agencies, which is what the pricing pages say. But there is no version of this page where I have nothing to gain.
What To Do This Week
Not a plan for next quarter. Three things you can finish today.
- Count your sub-accounts. Write down how many separate businesses you need to run inside one login. One? This is not your tool. Four or more, and it probably is.
- Estimate your monthly segments. Take last month’s texts, or your list size times how often you’d message them. Multiply by $0.011. That’s your real telecom line, and it either scares you or it doesn’t.
- Start the 14-day trial on the tier you’d actually use, not the cheap one. Testing Starter and buying Agency Pro teaches you nothing about the features you’re buying. Set an alarm for day 13, because a forgotten trial bills at whatever tier you picked.
It’s a lot like buying a work truck when what you haul is one toolbox. The truck is a good truck. The question was never whether it’s a good truck.
Running marketing for other people? Start the 14-day trial and price the tier against your client count. If you’re one person with one offer, the free systeme.io plan will do the same job for nothing until it doesn’t, and you’ll know when.
Bless and be blessed,

GoHighLevel Pricing FAQs
How much does GoHighLevel cost per month?
Three published tiers: Starter at $97, Unlimited at $297 and Agency Pro at $497 a month, read on the GoHighLevel pricing page 13 September 2026. Annual billing runs $970, $2,970 and $4,970, which works out to ten months paid for twelve.
Does GoHighLevel have hidden fees?
Not hidden, but not totalled for you either. Phone, SMS and email bill separately through a prepaid wallet, and A2P registration is required before you send a single business text in the US. The subscription is a floor, not a ceiling.
How much does GoHighLevel charge for SMS?
$0.00747 per segment outbound and inbound, per HighLevel's own LC Phone billing guide updated 1 September 2026. Carrier pass-through adds $0.003 to $0.005 per segment on top, so budget closer to a penny a segment than three-quarters of one.
Is there a GoHighLevel free trial?
Yes, 14 days on any tier, per the pricing page read 13 September 2026. Usage charges for phone, SMS and AI still apply during the trial, so the trial covers the subscription and not the telecom side of the bill.
What is the difference between the $297 and $497 plans?
Unlimited at $297 gives you unlimited sub-accounts and rebilling at cost. Agency Pro at $497 adds SaaS Mode, automated sub-account creation and rebilling with markup, which is the tier that lets you resell the platform at a profit.
Is GoHighLevel worth it for a solo marketer?
Usually not. The cheapest tier costs $97 a month and caps you at three sub-accounts, and sub-accounts are the feature you are paying for. One person running one business is buying an agency tool to use a fraction of it.
